MANCHAM FOR BELGRADE

IT has been announced from Glacis-sur-Mer that Seychelles Founding President James R. Mancham will participate in the meeting of the European Center for Peace Development (ECPD) International Study Group on Reconciliation which will be held in Belgrade from the 20th to 21st June, 2008.
Sir James will co-chair the meeting with H.E. Takehiro Togo – President of the ECPD Council who was for many years Japanese Ambassador in Moscow.
Mr Mancham will also attend the 4th International Conference on Reconcilia-tion and Human Security in the Balkans which will be held in Montenegro between the 20th-21st of October, 2008 – and the third International Conference on the Protection of Cultural Heritage in Banja Luka (Bosnia & Herzegovina) from 3rd-4th of November, 2008.
These conferences will be held in association with the United Nations University of Peace under the patronage of the City of Belgrade; the Government of Montene-gro; the Universal Peace Federation (UPF); the Friendship Exchange Council; the Tokyo Club Foundation and the Japan Foundation.
