THE Universal Peace Federation (UPF) is a global allia-nce of individuals and organizations dedicated to building a world of peace in which everyone can live in freedom, har-mony, cooperation and prosperity for all. It builds on Rev. Sun My-ung Moon’s lifetime of work for peace and reco-nciliation. The UPF pursues the following goals.
Cooperative Peace-Building Efforts among governmental, religious, cultural, educational and civil society representatives working together with mutual respect and a shared commitment to cooperation and governance.
Interreligious Dialogue and Cooperation for peace based upon the recognition that human dignity derives from a universal divine source that is the basis for the realization of harmony and unification.
Good Governance that integrates the contributions of religion, governments and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in the pursuit of peace.
Renewal of the United Nations, including a proposal that the UN create an interreligious council within its structures.
